day of football

Saturday was so perfect outside. Breeze blowing, sun out, football on, and the big green egg smoking away. Ahhh… game days. We watched the Auburn/Clemson game with some friends and it was so nice. Miriam joined the party in her orange overalls and gave their house a good test run before baby Hayes arrives this winter. Then before I was ready we had to pack 'er up and head home for nap time. Babies need a lot of beauty sleep and we're still a slave to "the schedule". We're like clock work with naps around here, but I feel a change a comin'. Mother's Day Out has her really out of whack. Anyway… game day continued so it was on to another football watchin' party to see Tennessee play. Plenty of socializing and beer drinking to drown out losing teams. Quite a day of fun reminds me how lucky we are to have such sweet friends.
