As my family sat around Christmas morning opening presents and chatting, all I could think about was my gift for hubs. I hoped this year was going to top all others. He casually unwrapped the gift, but as soon as he saw what was inside his eyes filled with pure joy. I commissioned a painting of Mr Cooper by Amanda Norman in Nashville. She totally captured his spirit and it brings back all sorts of good memories with him. He was kind of our first baby.

Now we get to see him every day. Sometimes I feel a twinge of sadness, but for the most part I smile right on back at the big buddy. Pure sweetness. I miss him like crazy and would do anything to give him a big 'ole hug around the neck and tell him good boy.
